Flats Challenge: What I learned this week: I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my flats!

I think I always took my flats for granted... This past week has been a good eye opener. Flats are my new found love.

Trim, effective, soft, absorbent, quick drying... What more can a cloth diapering momma ask for?

Thanks to the 2013 Flats Challenge hosted by Dirty Diaper Laundry, I've now learned that hand washing my diapers is not an impossible task. I've learned that sometimes simplicity just makes sense. I've learned that caring for 5 children (I got another foster child in the middle of the challenge) can be done while keeping up with hand washing diapers! I've even survived our first trip to the beach by using flats too!

It's time for me to look for ways to spread the word among families in my community. This week has inspired me to look for ways to get the word out. If only more mothers could learn to appreciate cloth, their worries could be reduced significantly... they would at least know that their baby has a chemical-free, inexpensive diapering solution until they are able to potty train. Off I go, to wash my final "big load" of diapers... :)
