Biking Do's and dont's...

I will get to some do's and dont's at the end here...but I have to tell you! I got so lucky recently at my local Target... I was out just trying to kill time and I scored a pretty sweet deal!

I had been shopping around for a baby car seat for a while... I looked and looked online. I didn't see many options locally. I had also read many reviews. Finally, I decided I would save up to get a different seat online. That was going to set me back about $120ish I believe (I was really trying to hold out for some sort of sale! Haha)

So here I was, standing in front of this deal... And how could I pass it up right???

Well, so far, we love it! I have to admit that this seat is probably made for us vertically challenged folks (I'm only about 5'2.) While riding, I find my knees have to go off to the sides a bit to make room for the seat in front of me. I'm not picky about this, I really love having my bub in front of me. I can talk to him, point out the birds, or passing cars. My little man loves our little rides and I am glad I can tote him along for some fresh air and exercise!

So what have we learned so far?

Biking Do: Yes, get that baby seat for your bike on sale! Aaaaaand YES, your baby will likely love cruising on your bike.

(Just look at how comfy this kiddo is!)

Biking don't: Don't assume you know the sidewalks or roads you are riding... Be vigilant haha... I hit a curb on my first ride out with my little guy... yay me! When hitting a curb, check for flying cell phones. I was home when I realized that I had dropped my phone during our little run in with the sidewalk curb... About a mile away I might add... It was humid, I had already ran out of breath, and my phone was where?!?! Haha! I guess the exercise was good for me this morning... Don't tell my legs that though, they will be yelling at me tomorrow morning when I try to drag them out of bed!
