Rainy day...

Rain in South Texas is a welcomed blessing anytime we can get it! Lately, we have been seeing some extreme dry weather and drought conditions so our grass is pretty dead...

The kids and I have been spending a lot of time out of the house. Playing at the park, hitting library story time, using the kiddie pool in the backyard... Etc etc. 

This evening we saw a patch of thunderstormy weather! Woo

Hoo!

I hadn't seen clouds like these in a while! I'm glad my grass is getting some love from the clouds. :) Since we have rain, we had to improvise on our outdoor playing time... 

Movie night it is! A local Redbox and $4 later, we have happy kids munching on air popped popcorn! What a nice cool evening it's turned out to be. (Cheap too!) 

Even our little guy decided to cuddle up with mommy and daddy tonight! I'm loving this!
