My due date was May 13th and now that day is a week behind me. I really never thought I would find myself pregnant this long! I know babies don't care about due dates and I guess I figured if he chose to be late he would only make it a couple of days late or something... Nope, not this little guy!
There is currently no signs of labor. I'm experiencing irregular contractions but not anything promising... I don't even know what to think at this time... How much longer will he hang out in my tummy!!! Yikes.
In the mean time, I still have some patience left in me and I'm looking at the bright side. I can still sleep a full night's sleep, I don't have diaper laundry just yet, and I can still give Derek and Ty all the attention in the world (if they will take it anyway.) I'm also enjoying my sister being in town and my nephew who is suuuuuuuper adorable. I think it would be harder to enjoy all these little things if I had to add a newborn to the mix.
:::Sigh::: I'll try my best to continue being patient! Who knows, maybe the New Moon scheduled for tomorrow will finally bring this baby home...
